It's cliché and all, but today really is a day of Thanks.

For my part, I have so much to be thankful for this year.  I think I've always had plenty to be thankful for, but this year in particular seems to bring each and every thing to light, and so I would like to take a brief moment to name a few of my numerous blessings:

My family: both my parents, my grandparents, my uncle and cousins, and of course, my sister and her wonderful family.  I never need to question whether or not they will support me, nor do I ever have to question their love for me.  As far as families go, I would say without hesitation that mine is in the top five.

Michelle: my best friend, my closet form of support and motivation...I can't imagine life without having her there to chat with, laugh and joke with, and of course, be inspired by.

Captain Katie: my beta and another dear form of motivation.  She is very much responsible for encouraging me to keep writing, not only with "Lovebearing Storm" but with my other stories as well.  I don't know that I would be as far with my work as I am without her support and enthusiasm.

My puppies: because, really, what is there to be more thankful for than a cold nose and big eyes to welcome you at the end of each day?

My co-workers: I couldn't ask for better ones.  They support me, they encourage me, and they tell me to get a grip when I start flying off the handle. :)

And to the rest of you on dA who have been supportive of me over the past...good Lord, has it been seven years now? :o  You all are so amazing and keep me going each and every day.  May you all have a hearty Thanksgiving with turkey, potatoes, cranberries, and of course, pumpkin pie.  And lots of it!!

Happy Thanksgiving, one and all!!
